EuroBancshares Prices at $14
Jeffrey R. Hirschkorn, Senior IPO Analyst, Aug. 12, 2004
Another deal priced for trading earlier today and comes to us from Keefe Bruyette & Woods. The deal: EuroBancshares (proposed: EUBK), of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The diversified banking concern offered 3.89 million shares at $14, in the middle of expected talk. Co-managers on the IPO included UBS Investment Bank and Brean Murray.
And the market's recent turbulence took some of the steam out of the proposed offering from online trading market Archipelago Holdings (proposed: AX). Pricing of the 11 million-share deal came in at $11.50, below talk of $13.25-$15.25. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Securities were joint book runners.
While speculation is running rampant that Google (proposed: GOOG) may price its IPO by week's end. No confirmation to the speculation has been confirmed by Current Offerings.
