Meeker Helped Morgan Win Google IPO

Thanks to a close relationship with the flamboyant co-founders of Google (GOOG) Morgan Stanley through Mary Meeker, gained the nod to take a dominant role in the massive IPO for the �Net search engine. Ms. Meeker, according to Newsweek Magazine, reportedly dines with the co-founders of Google and is trying to rebuild her credibility following tumultuous times following the tech bubble burst in 2000.

Credit Suisse First Boston was the other joint book runner on the Google IPO.
