Company Description:
We are the fourth largest coal producer in the United States, with operations in the four major coal producing regions in the United States: the Powder River Basin, Northern Appalachia, Central Appalachia and the Illinois Basin. Our primary business is to produce, process and sell steam coal, which we sell to producers of electric power, most of whom are large U.S.-based investment grade. We also produce and process metallurgical coal for use in the manufacture of steel.
